Our crews will do their best to use their industry experience and know-how to prevent damages. We try to be as close to perfect as we can, but unfortunately unexpected damages can still occur.
If during or following your move you notice damages to an item or your home, we ask that you contact our office as soon as possible with any pertinent information so we may begin the claims process. Our experts in the office will provide details and next steps regarding putting in and processing said claim. Each state is regulated and has their own requirements for how damages and claims are resolved, and our team will work within those guidelines to ensure damages are taken care of.
To speed up the process, we ask customers be prepared with information regarding their damaged piece. We will typically ask the make and model or manufacturer’s name of the item. In some cases we may request photos of the damage.
If you are reading this before your move, be sure to ask us about third party insurance options, and to also contact your current home owners insurance provider to see if your policy has any coverage that may be applicable to the goods you intend to have stored/transported.
